MAGIC COVE opened in July 1981 catering for 25 units in a sheltered position.  The site is level with a tarmac surface leading to grass pitches and is situated 40 yards back from the road, making it secluded and safe for children.  Our toilet block is kept to a high standard of cleanliness, with terrazzo floor throughout. Hot and Cold water is provided for all basins and sinks and the tiled shower cubicles operate on 10 pence meters.  Hot water, shaver and power point in gents and power point in ladies are free.  Water standpipes and drains for disposing of washing water etc. adjacent to each pitch.  Central point for disposal of chemical toilet contents is a maximum of 50 yards from any pitch.  All Electric Hook-Up pitches include a Television Point, TV Leads available on free loan.  Ice Packs frozen free of charge.

OPEN from Easter to the end of September.  Booking is essential during peak periods.

SITUATED in Mawgan Porth, mid way between Newquay and Padstow on the North Cornish Coast. Offering a central base if you wish to make trips to anywhere in Cornwall, as can be seen from the Location Map. On the other hand, if you prefer to stay put, you will only be a 300 yard level walk to the beach, which offers safe bathing and surfing under lifeguard supervision, rock pools and fine sand for just lazing around.

HOW TO FIND US   Keep on A30 until junction signposted for Newquay & Airport.  Follow Airport signs to Trekenning roundabout, take 1st exit.  Turn right 400 yards past Filling Station (signpost Airport).  Continue to T-junction past Airport, Turn right (Mawgan Porth), keep straight on to Mawgan Porth.   Turn Right by pitch 'n' Putt/Crazy Golf (see signpost), 300 Yards, access to MAGIC COVE through small camp site bordering the road on Left.
